[Dokokoko] Launch of a Chrome Extension That Finds Parking Right on Google Maps

Hello, this is Dokokoko. We have launched a Chrome extension that, when you click a destination on Google Maps, immediately shows you the nearby parking lots along with their fees. ■ Why we made it Until now, you had to find a place on Google Maps, copy its address, paste it into Dokokoko, and then copy a parking lot's name and go back to Google Maps. We made this extension to cut out that process. ■ What it can do · When you click a place on Google Maps, it lists the parking lots within a 1 km radius, sorted by distance · You can check at a glance whether each lot is open 24 hours and how many vehicles it holds · If you enter your entry and exit times, it calculates fees for that day of the week and time of day and re-sorts the lots from cheapest to most expensive · It also takes complex conditions into account, such as maximum fees, night fees, and day-of-week fees · You can open and close the panel by clicking the toolbar icon ■ How to install Search for "Dokokoko" in the Chrome Web Store, or install it from the link below. https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/eldbepmbjnhhkolhncokmmdbcffjgfbh ■ Privacy No sign-up is required, and we do not collect any information that identifies you. The extension reads only the address bar URL of the Google Maps page to determine the coordinates and place name, and it does not access the page content or your Google account information. ■ Notes Fee information has currently been confirmed for about 3,700 parking lots, and we are continuing to add more. [JapanMate] Parking Fee Simulator (Beta) Launch Announcement

* This notice was written at the time of the beta launch in February 2026. The simulator is now available throughout Japan, not just Tokyo. Hello, this is Dokokoko. To make using parking lots in Japan more convenient, we have launched a simulator that estimates your parking fee when you enter the place you are visiting, the date, and your planned entry and exit times. For now it is available only in some areas of Tokyo, and we are preparing to make it available across all of Japan. Hello! Thank you for visiting Dokokoko. Dokokoko is a service that provides parking information and other features to help you prepare for your trip to Japan more easily. 1) What you can do on Dokokoko Find parking: Search for parking lots across Japan on the map and check their fees, capacity, and business hours. You can also search near your destination or by Google Maps link. Parking fee simulator: Enter your visit date and entry and exit times, and we will calculate the amount you will actually pay. It also takes complex conditions into account, such as maximum fees, night fees, and day-of-week fees. Chrome extension: When you click a destination on Google Maps, it immediately shows the nearby parking lots along with their fees. You can install it by searching for "Dokokoko" in the Chrome Web Store. Yen exchange rate: Check the latest exchange rate. Magazine: We regularly publish information useful for traveling in Japan, along with regional guides. 2) No sign-up, and the operator cannot see what you enter (Important) You can use Dokokoko without signing up. Also, because of how the service is built, the operator has no means of storing user information, so we cannot view, store, or process the itineraries or other content you enter. 3) So where is my itinerary saved? (Important) The itineraries you create can be saved only in the following way. While you are using the service, they may be saved in your browser's cache/cookies (and browser storage, etc.). This means your itinerary may disappear if you clear your browser cache/cookies, use incognito mode, or switch devices or browsers. Please keep a separate copy of any important itinerary. 4) We keep adding more data Fee information has currently been confirmed for about 3,700 parking lots, and the operator is checking and filling them in one by one. Some areas may not have data yet. If you find anything inconvenient or any errors while using the service, please report them by email.
